Mercer County Hepatitis Support Group
Our Group was formed to provide an atmosphere of mutual support and educational opportunity for individuals afflicted with Hepatitis. Our goal is to create a space where we can freely share our cares, joys and experience with each other, in an open, and mutually supportive environment.
Education will be provided through interaction with members of the Hospital staff and occasionally guest speakers from the area. Although we hope to reach out to those suffering from liver disease, our meetings are open to all, who may have a concern or interest in diseases of the liver. Our meetings will vary between open shared discussion and a speaker format. New members will be encouraged to become a part of the steering process. All viewpoints concerning treatment and treatment options are welcome. Our most important message is quite simple: YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
Meetings will be held on the 1st. and 3rd. Sundays of each month at 7:00 PM, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton, on the corner of Whitehorse-Hamilton Square and Klockner roads, in Hamilton Square, New Jersey. Enter through the main Hospital Lobby, turn right towards the Gift Shop and continue straight ahead to the Library. The conference room we use is adjacent to the Library. Meetings start at 7:00 PM, and will last approximately 90 minutes, depending upon the occasion. We look forward to seeing you there!
